If you’re a regular visitor to this site, then you know I’m a big fan of roasted vegetables (especially garlic roasted). It’s my very favorite way to cook them. I love how quick and easy it is to make an absolutely delectable side dish.
Perfect Roasted Grean Beans
I make this dish a lot! Roasting green beans brings their best flavors. They get a little crispy, which I love, and the flavor is more concentrated than it would be if you steamed or sautéed them. And the crisp garlic and parmesan cheese just elevates them to a whole new level! If you’re new to roasting green beans, you have to try it! Once you do, this recipe will go into your regular rotation!
Step By Step Instructions
Wash the green beans and leave to dry completely. Trim the ends and add to a large oven-safe dish. Add the garlic. Toss with the extra-virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper and spread out evenly in the dish. Add freshly grated parmesan cheese. Toss to coat well. Roast, until lightly caramelized, crisp and tender, about 15-25 minutes. Serve with plenty of freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
