Why You Will Love Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bites
Quick and healthy snack Gluten-free Vegan No added sugar Dairy-free The perfect combination of flavor: banana, chocolate, and peanut butter
Ingredients and Substitutions
Bananas – The best are yellow bananas; they are sweet but still firm compared to ripe bananas that are mushy. Natural Peanut Butter – A fresh jar with no added oil, and no added sugar. Of course, you can be creative and use other nut butter too like cashew butter, almond butter, or even sun butter for a nut-free option. Dark Chocolate Chips – Depending on how sweet you love your snack, pick either semi-sweet chocolate chips, or 85% cocoa chocolate chips. The more cocoa, the bitter and less sweet the chocolate banana bites will be. Coconut Oil or light olive oil – This is used to melt the chocolate; it can be avoided, but the chocolate shell won’t firm up as well in the freezer.
