I love quick treat recipes, and for summer, I want to have something refreshing to cool down. I often make my Avocado Ice Cream, but if all I have is 5 minutes and bananas on my benchtop, I go for this banana ice cream. It’s so easy to make that it quickly became my go-to summer dessert for any occasion.
Ingredients and Substitutions
It only takes two ingredient to make this ice cream. Two!
Banana – The ripeness of your bananas will change how sweet the ice cream is, so choose the riper ones if you like it sweet. I always keep a few ripe bananas in the freezer to make recipes like this one, but you can also buy frozen bananas. Peanut Butter – You need to use natural peanut butter (sugar-free, oil-free, salt-free) for a good consistency. Alternatively, you can use pure almond butter or sunflower seed butter.
