I wanted to share my Avocado Banana Pudding recipe because it’s a delicious, super simple, and healthy dessert that anyone can whip up in just 5 minutes, and a great alternative to my Tiramisu Chia Pudding or my 3-Ingredient Vegan Banana Pudding. With only three ingredients – banana, avocado, and cocoa powder – it’s perfect for satisfying those sweet cravings without any guilt. Plus, it’s vegan and packed with nutrients, so you can enjoy it as a snack or a dessert. I hope you enjoy making and eating it as much as I do!
Ingredients and Substitutions
Avocado – Look for Hass avocados, which are known for their creamy texture. Avoid avocados with dark spots or overly soft areas as they may be overripe or bruised. They would add a bitter taste to the pudding. Banana – Choose bananas that are just starting to get brown spots. They should be sweet but not overripe to avoid an overpowering banana flavor. The sweetness of the pudding depends on the ripeness of the bananas. Cocoa Powder – I use unsweetened cocoa powder for a rich chocolate flavor. Look for high-quality brands with no added sugar or fillers for the best taste.
