If you love my vegan peach cobbler or my apple peach crumble, then you need to try these air fryer peaches. It’s a simple, healthy way to enjoy a quick and healthy peach dessert. Plus, the air fryer make it fast to cook in less than 12 minutes. So now, let’s talk about why I created this recipe. It’s peach season, and I usually grill peaches on the BBQ in summer. But, then I started to use the air fryer because it was faster and kids can participate easily. I always thought grilled peaches are too soft and miss some crunch. Grilled, caramelized peaches are good, but then I thought why not add some crunch with oats, nuts, to boost their taste. That was enough to make a perfect recipe! My whole family adores this easy summer dessert so here’s the recipe for you.
Ingredients and Expert Tips for Success
Fresh Ripe Peaches – Make sure they are soft to the touch, or they won’t be easy to halve and pit. You can use yellow peaches or white peaches, up to you. Keep the skin on and wash before use. Halve, remove the pit, I use a teaspoon to run around the pit and push it out easily without breaking the peaches’ flesh. Quick Oats – You can use rolled oats, but I prefer the thin texture of quick oats. Sliced Almonds, shredded coconut, or any chopped nuts you love like pecans or walnuts. Brown Sugar – You can also use coconut sugar or any crystal sweetener you love. You can also swap for maple syrup if preferred. Cinnamon is a must for flavors.
